Asparagus and Leek Quiche

Asparagus season is here and the best way to eat them, in my opinion, is cooked over hot embers with salt and pepper. They really don’t need fancy sauces or complicated cooking techniques, cooking with wood and fire brings out the best in asparagus. So, if you don’t normally like asparagus, try it this way – you’ll probably change your mind.


So wasn’t a huge leap to decide to bake a quiche with woodfired asparagus with baby leeks, mozzarella, cheddar and goats cheese in my woodfired oven.
