Hot Cross Buns

Can’t have Easter without baking your own hot cross buns and, whatever the weather is, there’s no excuse not to fire up your woodfired oven.

I decided not to add the cross, for private reasons, but that doesn’t take away from the flavour. Whichever recipe you choose to follow, I highly recommend covering your buns with melted marmalade at the end – gives a wonderful added tangy flavour to your buns.
